I am officially a Private Pilot as of June 28th 2007!
My checkride was eventful and I'll post more details later. But here's a juicy tidbit - my examiner gave Angelina Jolie her Instrument Rating checkride! I feel so honored to have sat in the chair that she did.
Not really honored, but it's cool.

It is an amazing feeling! I am getting checked out in a 172 tomorrow. I can finally fly more than one friend :)
